Kentucky Tourism
During my time as the Interim Video Production Manager at Miles Partnership, I acted as the Producer for a 10-part series highlighting famous recipes for Kentucky Tourism. This was my first opportunity to lead a culinary shoot in a professional ghost kitchen and studio environment in St. Petersburg, Florida.
What made this project stand out was the level of involvement I had throughout the process. I was on set for the full duration of the production and took a hands-on approach to everything from the initial setup to the creative direction. Managing a food shoot requires a high level of attention to detail, and I was responsible for ensuring that the technical execution stayed aligned with the client's vision for the series.
Every production has its challenges, and this one was no exception. On the morning of the shoot, we discovered that a key ingredient called Ale 8 One had gone missing. Because this is a regional favorite specific to Kentucky, it was extremely difficult to source in Florida on such short notice.
I had to think fast to keep the production on schedule. After some research and a few phone calls, I managed to track down the exact product we needed at a local Cracker Barrel. I was able to get the ingredient to the studio just in time to start rolling, which kept the entire 10-part series on track. This project was a perfect example of why a producer needs to stay calm and resourceful under pressure.

Louisiana Music Ambassadors
Client: Louisiana State Government
Editor: Dotti Gunn
Producer: Emilie DeLong
Videographer: User Generated Content
The Louisiana Music Ambassadors program shares the diverse sounds and culture of the state with a global audience. For this project, I was tasked with taking a massive volume of raw User-Generated Content and transforming it into a cohesive montage that captures the energy of the local music scene.
Working with User-Generated Content requires a specific editorial approach to ensure that disparate footage feels polished and intentional. I focused on the internal rhythm of the edit to bridge the gap between various video qualities and shooting styles. The goal was to create a visual experience that feels as vibrant as the music itself while maintaining the performers' authentic spirit.
By using rhythmic pacing and careful curation, I turned raw performance clips into a professional showcase of Louisiana’s cultural landscape. This project highlights my ability to find the narrative thread in a large set of varied assets and create a unified story that works for a global brand. You can learn more about the program and the artists involved at the Louisiana Music Ambassadors site.
2018 Brand USA: Inspiration Guide
For this project I was the Advertising Account Manager responsible for the actual delivery of the Brand USA Inspiration Guide. My job was to make sure that the thousands of details across seven different language versions actually made it to the finish line without errors. I managed the versions for English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, and Italian.
I spent my time proofing every single page for typos and dead links while making sure that every spread had the right photos for the right region. A big part of the role was being the middleman between the state design offices and our production team to make sure their specific pages were handled correctly. It was a massive exercise in organization and quality control to ensure that a global publication with this many moving parts actually worked the way it was supposed to.
